The Arc’teryx Women’s Ski Camps presented by GORE-TEX® are back for another season at Whistler Blackcomb and this year have partnered with the Howe Sound Women’s Centre.

The Arc’teryx Women’s Ski Camps presented by GORE-TEX® run from December to April, on Saturdays and Sundays.

The goal of the all-women camps is to help attendee’s master confidence at any level of skiing. Every Saturday, the camp hosts an après for the participants. This year Arc’teryx will be introducing a silent auction component where the latest Arc’teryx gear will be auctioned off with 100 per cent of the proceeds going to the Howe Sound Women’s Centre.

“We’re excited to be adding a charity component to this year’s Women’s Camps,” says Laura Fergusson, Global Community Marketing Manager for Arc’teryx. “We feel that supporting the Howe Sound Women’s Centre will resonate strongly with all the camp participants. As skiers we’re fortunate for every day we get to experience in the mountains and we recognize not all women have this opportunity. Every chance we have to give back and support other women is one we should take.”

“The Arc’teryx Women’s Ski Camps presented by GORE-TEX® empower women through sport in a fun and supportive environment. The skills and friendships developed give women the confidence to thrive in all aspects of their lives,” says Megan Reynolds, Executive Director with Howe Sound Women’s Centre Society. “In turn, the addition of the silent auction benefiting our women’s programs provides a platform for camp participants to help other women in need, when and where they need it most. We are so grateful to Arc’teryx and Whistler Blackcomb for selecting the Women’s Centre as the partner charity for the camps.”
